I remember right before the season i maxed bench 225 and can do a maximum of 56 pushups. now that the season started, I've noticed my strength decreasing. Just yesterday, we had a pushup competition in gym class and i can only bust out 35! Im afraid to find out what my max bench is now. I've been performing bad all other exercises also. I dont do as much pullups, chinups, and dips as before. I havent been as strong as i was in the first couple days of the season. Can this all be because of my attmept ot cut weight? I have been getting leaner though. any supplements i can take to maintain my strength?
