Default can u help me with this problem?

Hey, I have been varsity for 2 1/2 straight and now i lost my varisty spot. I feel like there is no point to wrestling now because when i vsed the kid that beat me the first time he should of won, i just got a lucky flip and won. He won this time and i feel like there is no point to wrestling. Can you say something to make me feel better and please dont say o well if you work out alot and try your hardest and never give up your gunna beat him, or well even though the points dont count your a important part of the team because it doesn't make me feel better. So yah if you have anything to make me feel better just post it, Thanks.

Can you bump up or down a weight and beat out the guy at that spot? I can't give you any advice that you don't already know or that wouldn't be patronizing but I can tell you a story. 1994 I had a cousin his senior year that had been varsity for three years in a row, and got beat out his senior year (early in the year). He never beat the guy that took his spot, he never earned a varsity spot again. In fact he entered districts his senior year as a JV wrestler, but went on to out place his teammate at both districts and state.
