Default Is this a full nelson or a legal move?

It's been a while since this tournament, and since we won the match I'd kinda forgotten about it but going over the tape I got ticked off again. So my question to you is in the third round does the top wrestler put the bottom wrestler in a full nelson or is it a legal move (it really starts around the 5 min mark but feel free to watch the whole thing and give us suggestions).

That's an interesting one. Looks to me like the kid on the bottom brought his own hand up there in an attempt to peel away the other hand. Top kid looked like he was just trying to maintain wrist control. I really can't say if it was legal or not, but I probably would have called it legal.

No full nelson that I saw-kid in white and black had a legal 1/2 nelson and control of the wrist. The other kid was trying to tear the hand away-that is what you saw, IMO. If the kid in the Black and White would use a butcher rather than the 1/2 he would be far more formidable as he could have switched to a head lock as the other kids knee was posted .

if you watch closely you see that he just has a half nelson and is keeping wrist control while putting in the half

Kid on bottom is the rubber band man...nice.

That bottom dude impressed the crap out of me. Legal half with a wrist.

Kid on the bottom is a freshman wrestling at 112. He's got a lot of potential.

i think its legal, idk which was on ur team but tell the guy that was throwing the half to work the dicky, its where u have the half anf the wrist and they rnt flipping ovr so u post ur knee beside or right infront of ur opponest and step away while dragging him ovr ur knee, its effective and works really well to break them down to flip them ovr
