Re: Butt drag = Sexual Assault There are a lot of different things going on here on a lot of different levels. Unfortunately, none of us know what really happened. IF, in fact, the "bully" threatened the "victim" prior to the move, that is one situation. If, instead, this is some kid being uncomfortable with the level of physical contact involved in wrestling, we have something completely different.
I've seen bullies in wrestling rooms. I've also seen wimps. When I learned to do the butt drag we called it "checking the oil", which (think about it) is pretty inappropriate.
If we have an over-protective, potentially homophobic father going overboard to protect his kid, I feel sorry for the kid. If we have a bully in the wrestling room, I feel sorry for the program.

Re: Butt drag = Sexual Assault When I do my butt drags, I usually just grab the butt and do my mediocore move. But when there is not a lot of time left on a clock and I am about to score... the fingers do drag up the butt a bit too hard.. It is just how wrestling is, it depends who wants to win more and who wants to whine more.
