Have you HS guys been practicing the techniques as they show up in the video section (and the right sidebar)?

They seem to be helping me, but for How to properly finish a double leg video, my coach taught me something different. In the same stance as you, he said to make a big step forward with your right leg, bend down, grab the opponents leg, and then push up with your left leg. In the video, you bent forward with the left leg first and then used the right leg to drive. Is that a different way to do it?

different people have different preferences from what works for them...a lot of what is taught is textbook,or some textbook stuff that was altered a little

I wish that I had these type of resources when I wrestled back in the 1970's! These HS guys don't know how lucky they are.

the videos are a big help in the fact that after a match and either i won or loss i can see what to do next time and learn new moves
