I am a freshman, have wrestled for 3 years now, but now that things are at a higher level because I am varsity, I noticed that I stand with my right leg forward, but shoot with my left so I step then shoot. It slows my shot down alot, I am right handed, so when I pummel it is wierd too. Any suggestions?

sounds like you need to learn how to wrestle with both legs forward. atleast learn how to transition to left leg lead before shooting without stepping. when I first started I use to move my back leg before shooting, my coach had me shoot without moving that back leg for 1hr each day for 2 weeks. needless to say I became a really good shooter after that 2 weeks.
