I tend to agree with you, but I think Logan's not far behind and a lot of the perception is a stylistic thing. Taylor just dazzled you with his constant action and mat wrestling. Logan, while still maintaining a very good pace, doesn't draw as many "oohs" and "ahhs," but he steadily builds his lead and there is never any doubt who is going to win. Because he hasn't always been at a strength disadvantage like David, he hasn't been forced to master as many techniques. Nonetheless, he always has dominant wins over even the very best opponents.

I guess I'd say Logan is more work-man like/fundamental, while David is just a technical wizard. I think David will put up more bonus points early in his career, but both will be title contenders from day 1.

I certainly meant no disrespect towards Logan. I expect him to be a National Champ one day. I just remember watching Taylor roll through the state tourney as a freshman and not even weighing 100 lbs. Then deciding to jump four weight classes as a senior and still make it look easy. But Logan's brother is rolling through the competition, too. OSU may be more than an also ran, in a couple of years.

Logan's brother is damn good, but Beckman beat him earlier this year. Beckman is a badass, but it shows the difference between the two Steibers.

I don't think Logan will be a title contender next year. I really think they'd be foolish to not RS him. Now the year after will be a different story in my mind.

I didn't take it down. Sometimes it shows up, sometimes it doesn't. I don't know why.

I hope they redshirt him. It just makes more sense... The only thing is, so far the current coaching staff hasn't redshirted anyone good enough to earn the starting spot. On the other hand Kevin Schlosser (an insider) seems to think they are going to redshirt a lot of guys next year. I hope he's right.

Now that Triggas has AA'd it seems likely that they would RS Steiber. If he had 1-2'd at NCAAs it may be different. No offense but I'm not sure about the Bucks making tons of noise next year w/ or w/o steiber. But the year after they will be looking nice.

That's my thought exactly... Might as well build for the future.
