With your right foot as the penetration foot, and your right hand/arm as the high c....drag your left foot behind you opponent and put his hip on your chest. Grab his far hip with your left hand. Your High-c hand should grab your left arm and then lift him off the mat. Drive him into the mat for your takedown, and if you maintain hip control, you can score a few near fall points as well.
Sounds similar to what our coach taught us. Except we don't wrap our arms around his hips.

It's only one arm around his hip, and the high "C" grabs that arm. I don't know if there is any video of this...What is so nice about it is the ability to control his hips with your elbows. One other nice thing about it, is if he sprawls out on the high c and your already in motion to the side you maintain leverage and can drive into his hips for a takedown.

most important is to set your 45 degree angle. You do that, and you have positional advantage. Because you're not setting your 45, you're getting sprawled on. Once you set your 45, he, (or she) can no longer do that to you. From there simply select your favorite finish and score. I like to use high level judo in there, but that's far more advanced.

Set your 45!

Would it be kid of like this:

except shoot a high crotch and leave the high croth arm in and reach around with the other arm?

I used to only want my wrestlers to cover across or crack down off a hi c. I have seen this lift be very effective against quality wrestlers.

Yes it is exactly what I was describing but with the High c grabbing the arm that wraps around the waist. Pull your opponents hip tight to your chest and lift with your legs. As our head coach tells our wrestlers...once you have them in the air...walk over to the cheerleaders at the side of the mat and ask them..."where do you want me to put him?"

When you lift him, do you keep one knee on the map, lift and dunk, or do you it with both feet up (standing)?
