Thread: What new shoes should I get???

Wrestling shoes run small/tight, so you might want to go 8.5. Also, my son wanted Green Cael 3.0s and we searched the internet for about a month and found that the price varied greatly from a low closeout of $45 to a high of $125. If I were you and really wanted the gables, keep searching even if you have to wait a month or even two, you might be ablet to find closeouts around $60. Good luck!

I've never had either shoe I had ASICS Split Seconds (or something like that)


what do you recommend? the gables look really good to me

Both are excellant shoes. I prefer the look of the Gables, I think the spiderwebbing is neat. The split color on the Caels looks weird to me, but you don't notice it in a few of the colors. Again, both are great, just go with which ever you like the best.

I saw a bunch of Cael Sanderson shoes at sports authority for sale. Don't remember how cheap they were but they had to be less than 50 bucks. If I were you, if you have a car or ride, go to any sporting goods store and check them out. Most of the wrestling gear should be on sale for the holidays.

same here. I would've ordered the gables but they're out of stock. I check other websites and they were like 100+ dollars.

So I ended up getting the Cael 4.0's... with a nice white USA Wrestling beanie!

Heh I know this is late but WWsport has the gable ultimates for 40 bucks, but only the yellow color (which I bought).
