I am a female wrestler, and I definitely encourage you to go out for the team. Wrestling was one of the best experiences of my life. Especially if you have the opportunity to be on a team of all girls, you should definitely take advantage of your situation since in most states, girls just have to wrestle with the boys.

Wrestling is both physically and mentally challenging, but it is definitely worth it!

Cali is a hotbed for women's wrestling! There are great women's teams and clubs in both Northern and Southern California.

If you haven't visited yet, visit the site and the front page has a list of girls' only tournaments. CA has its own girls' sectionals and girls' states so there are ample competition opportunities for female wrestlers.
