Looks like Jake had a great 2nd period!

It's a shame the ball pick didn't go on his favor at least 1 time. Things may have gone differently.

I think he has done a incredible job to even make the team and considering who his opponent was wrestled a dang good match even though he lost.

He wrestled well and as ccbig said part of the loss had to do with luck - since not scoring last was the criterion he lost by a couple times when tied. His coach also said, though, that it was also due to inexperience and he may have tried too much to score rather than get through the period with a lead and win. Helluva job, though, and he had a great opportunity to medal - too bad it didn't work out.
