Our heavy is a 17 year old and very undersized. I'd like to see him lean out to 96.

we predicted 5 golds for Iran, Rahimi, Esmaeilpour, Tavakkol, K.Ghasemi and A.Ghasemi !! but how many medals we won ? only 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze

3 of them lost to Russian wrestlers ! and Amir Ghasemi lost to a georgian ! one of the poorest performances for Iran in recent years !

    still in second place

How do Iranian media comment the work of the coaches? Will my friend Majid be fired?

man you know everything, even iranian media ! after first day (when we led by 1 pt) they said : "we have a good team, we will beat Russia this time" and after second day, they said : "Russians worked very better than us !, we sent a very bad team !"

Majid is lucky 1 week before olympic , world Jr Championship is not that important for media ! but we still must find a magical stone to beat Russia ! Majid did not find it

    Akzent,

Even it true for some wrestlers, I don't think results would be any different had everyone been honest about their age. Caucas wrestlers plus Russian system and support equals superior wrestlers at any age.

Perhaps your wrestlers should start faking their age.

Give chance to Majid to work!He is young coach, begin his career now and i think will have good future!I must say for Rahimi that in the final the referees helped to the russian in the first period-the attack was on Rahimi-2 points for him, then 2 points for Israpilov and again controll of Rahimi-1 point. The result was 3:2 for iranian.

I haven't watched this match. Maybe Nariman Israpilov beat the Iranian applying any special technique from female wrestling he learned from Natalya Golts.

This summer his main function in the Russian team was (and I think still is) drill partner of Golts in her preparation for the Olympics. The coaches were mad that Golts (55 kg) was 5x european champ, but 4x only 3rd at worlds. They hoped she would improve and eventually become a champ at world level, if she practices with men only. They attached Israpilov to her.

That's because Yoshida doesn't compete at the Europeans, otherwise Golts would have 0 European titles. Maybe they should import a Japanese man to work with her?
