Shirvani Muradov is from Dagestan. Says he was born 6/20/1985.
Others:
Kudukhov is Ossetian.
Otarsultanov is Chechen
Batirov is Dagestani
Dudaev is Ossetian
Farniev is Ossetian
Saitiev is Chechen born in Khasavyurt, Dagestan
Murtazaliev is Dagestani
Tsargush is Abkhazian
Sajidov is Dagestani
Ketoev is from South Ossetia, but some say he is Georgian.
I think most of the heavies are Dagestani, although Shemarov is Russian.
Many of them now live and train either around Moscow/St. Petersburg area or in Siberia.
Otarsultanov lives and trains in Moscow.
Ketoev lives and trains in St. Petersburg
Saitiev is in Siberia, Krasnoyarsk
Tsargush and Gatsalov live and train in Moscow suburbs.
quick,
Ketoev states he is from North Osetia, not South.

thanks for the info, i find it hilarious how one guy is acctually russian haha
Well these regions are a part of Russia and they speak Russian and everything about them is Russian. Russia is more than just Slavic people. It is not correct to say Shemarov is Russian but others are Daghestani. They are all Russians but of different ethnicities.
I mean Mocco and Cormier are both Americans but are very much different ethnically.
Also as an analogy it is no different than saying it is hilarious that most players on American basketball team are black. Daghestanis, Osetians and Chechens simply like wrestling more than other Russians. They suck at hockey though.
it was only the way it was worded that is kind of funny, the're all obviosly russian.
i dont really think that the anologies are that similar because being black doesnt really represent a specific state of usa, but i get ur drift
Sorry Big, these guys may speak Russian but its not their common speach and everything about them is not Russian. Try going to Chechnya and tell them that they are Russian. Infact other than being located in Russia nothing else about them is really Russian. For hundreds of years the whole area belong to the Persian Empire but the were never Persian. They are as different from Russians as are Armenians or Azeris they just didn't get their independance.
