Do you know what happened to 55 kg Zakharuk (UKR)? Is he done?

He won last year's Euros but did not compete at Worlds and didn't compete at this year's Euros.

In an interview before the 2006 worlds and in another one before the 2007 euros, the Ukrainian head coach Ruslan Savlokhov said that Zakharuk and Tosoev were suffering from any traumas.

Zakharuk suffers from the "5 X European champion but always lose in the semi-final of the World Championships" trauma.

I guess his lucrative MMA career is just taking up too much time. Maybe he and Heidari can meet one day in Vets.

He changed it after hearing and falling in love with the Suzanne Vega hit from the 80s.

I like the song too. However I find it is amazing that someone would change his name because he liked a song.
