thats the old saitiev that i remember, if he wins a 3rd gold medal at the olympics will he be the first to ever do so in freestyle?

No, Alexander Medved won 3 Golds in freestyle. He would be the first Non-HWT to do so in either style.

no almost for me, i did get teary eyed! that was f'n AWESOME. saitiev looked possessed, i wish to God i could watch his beijing matches live somewhere and cheer my head off! greatest wrestler ever.

These Russians make it look so easy and fluid. I can't think of one wrestler since Cael or Smith that remind me of how these guys move. I'm actually jealous and wished our wrestlers had the focus these guys do in order to practice the way they do.

Makes me think about sending my kids to Russia for awhile.

That match was sick! Batriov is amazing in a scramble.......Just so slick and with power and amazing body control and strength.

Better! He never lost at Olympics. He also started wrestling in his 20s.
