In an interview after the 2007 euros, Ketoev said he moved from Tbilisi to Vladikavkaz 5 years earlier. That means in 2001-2 (i.e. when he was 16-17, if 1985 is really his year of birth).

I noticed another mistake in your first post, Big.
In Greek, it is Bedinidis, not Betinidis. There is a Big difference.

Bentinidis is the correct transliteration of the name written in Greek.
You have NT there for the very simple reason that in Greek, there isn't a letter for the sound D.
In other words: letter combination NT = sound D.

As for the name change, of course it was Georgi who changed it after moving to Russia.

Search the net for Abramishvili - you'll find several thousands. The same as Avramov in Slavic languages.

Davidovi - the "i" at the end is a usual final sound when a root ends on a consonant, e.g. in Georgian, Iran is written Irani.
