The Russians should only be allowed to represent Russia, there should be a complete shut out on them wrestling for other nations.

Its not that there skills or trainingmethods are better. Just by wrestling many different wrestlers upgrades the skilllevel of all those wrestlers.
    Its also a moneymatter.
For instance American wrestlers or West European wrestlers especially west european wrestlers have to pay alot of stuff by themselves.
Russians get a lot of money by winning certain competition. Soccerplayers in west europe get alot of monet as well, its just a cultural thing.

Or Cubans, having a communistic regime are being pushed to do well in sports to get their credibility for instance.

I mean Americans are better American Football players or used to/still are better basketballplayers.
Italians, Germans, Dutch people have many great soccerplayers.

    So dont be amazed.
well u got a point there, but what im saying is that its amazing how u might watch some wrestlers representing a certain country and u might think, wow that uzbeki or kazak guy is really good. only to find out they are acctually ossetian.

Same with the Ukraine. Some of their recent top wrestlers are Ossetian: Zazirov, Tedeev, Aldatov.

    akzent,

Indeed the Russian site claims Mussulbes did not show up for his 3rd place match. Is he done or will he come back better than ever? Hmmm.....

Also, the Russian site claims in the 1st round Mussulbes confidently defeated the strongest American HWT, Steve Mocco.

Dude, Ukranian last names most often end with an "O".
Ev or Ov endings are usually not Ukranian.

Big, you asked me what do I think about Kolomiets who placed 3rd at 96. I see now ? in the semis, Gogshelidze simply utilized him to practice for the finals. He pinned Kolomiets in the first period after a 6:0 lead.
In the finals, Gogshelidze pinned Moradi in the second period after a 7:0 lead.

Another observation: Musulbes didn't withdraw immediately after loosing (being pinned) in the quarters. He wrestled back and won his first WB match but for any reasons he didn't show up in the match for the 3rd place.
