Default Kosovo freestyle wrestling team anyone?

What a joke, soon every village in Eastern Europe will proclaim its independence and Ossetians and Dagestanis will represent them at Worlds and Olympics.

Is Kosovo suppose to be putting together a team?

Its not exactly a joke, we are talking about ethnic cleansing here. The real issue is why it is so easy to represent a nation you have no real links to.

A Nation used to stand for something. All these new tiny "Nations" kill the meaning of a Nation. They do nothing but ask real Nations for help and maintenance.

I am sure they will start putting sports teams together in the near future. What better way to become known than through sports?

Watch this Serbian documentary film (1968) featuring a village feast in Kosovo, in which the main element and the most attractive event was an oil-wrestling competition:

The film about the very feast starts at 1:08.

Watch what happened at 4:44; this was the end of the final match. Quite an acrobatic one!!!

The speaker comments the acrobatic moves: Since in the final there wasn't a wrestler from outside (both wrestlers were from that village), there shouldn't be a victory by fall (the prescribed victory in oil-wrestling finals) in that match. The wrestlers stopped wrestling and let a jury to declare the winner.

From many cases in North Caucasus (Saitievs, Batirovs, and others ? also Ossetians), we know that traditional customs and ethics don't allow wrestling matches between kindred persons: no match, no victory, no hostilities.
Now, the ethics and the customs in Kosovo appear to be more restrictive than those in Caucasus! They don't allow a victory not only within kindred groups, but even in a local/village group, which isn't necessarily based on kinship.

If they still keep these ethic rules, they will hardly form a national wrestling team.
That is why Ossetians and Dagestanis will be absolutely essential
