They wrestled each other at a training camp yesterday.
Nobody could win a period in the regular time.
All 3 periods ended with the "clinch".

Akzent,
Its funny that you mention this. We we're discussing how topwrestlers from different weightclasses would compete against each other and how huge the difference would be due to weight difference.
Nice to know about this.
But still, its a wrestling practice, they havent shown their real deal i guess.
Or was the setting different??
Also, Ketoev won Schultz tourney at 211 last year. He beat Hahn there.
yeah thats a tricky discussion. Because as you are saying the much heavier Taimazov cannot score at Gatsalov. To my opinion that all has to do with weightclasses and human bodyprofile.
Because a guy like Gatsalov 96 kg is still very strong and has more athletic quickness than for instance the much heavier Taimazov, therefore his strength cannot overdue the quickness and also strength of Gatsalov. Also 96 kg wrestlers are already very high in being very strong human beings.
Again thanx for the info!
This does not man that people who weigh less heavy are better, because I seriously believe that someone like murtazaliev is quicker than gatsalov but would simply not win, due to gatsalovs strength. So there is a border a sort of unwritten edge that is very difficult to explain, I see the same thing at my wrestlingclub. The 84 of 96 kg guys are almost unbeatable, anything above or under 84 and 96 has a hard time beating them...
How about 55 vs. 96?
In this picture taken last weekend, Toguzov and Kurtanidze have almost the same.... height.
