Default Olympics: Russians are not leaving anything to chance!

Disappointed and angered by Natalya Golts' ONLY 3rd place at 2007 world championships in Baku, Russian wrestling officials have designed a new plan, a PERFECT PLAN, to assure Gold in Beijing.

Specifially, she has began training in Mahachkala, Dagestan, along the men at one of their main wrestling centers. She has two personal coaches now with partners selected from both, Junior level and Senior level female wrestlers. The partners were carefully selected to maximize her training success. First results should be evident at Yarigin tourney coaches announced.

Only team sweden lol, its hard to watch womens wrestling sometimes especially in the practice room when guys how may weigh 50 pounds less can score at will against "world level" female athletes, my opinion on womens wrestling is that they may be more vicious and get angered easier then men, but they jus can not grasp the technical aspect of the sport, at least not yet.

i trained with a woman world champ. her technique was outstanding, conditioning, and flexibility as well. her lower body was very powerful, but her upperbody strenght was way way way inferior. i'm about 160 pounds, she is 140, but it was like wrestling a 100 lb boy. when she shot on me, i couldn't do a real real wizzer, i feel like i woulve ripped her arm out.

she caught me a couple of times with under-arm spins aka arm throws. very nice ones, too. she caught me on slick couters too.

i feel, an average high school state champion wrestler from the US should be able to ''hang in there'' with a female world champion at his weightclass. that's the best comparizon i can give you.
