I only watched one quick single, didn't so a single with the head on the inside.

Show me a vid where he uses this technique well or a few times.

i wouldn't go as far as saying 'the best ever'.... but in the US, rihgt now, Donny Pritzlaff has the best single. when he can get that shot going, it's hard to stop him.

here is a good source for his vids

His trademark was a low single with his head on the inside. I'm surprised you don't know this. Try these and get back to me:

As somebody else already mentioned, Tom Brands had a very nice sweep single.

you're right. since tom wrestled with a left foot lead, he could demolish right foot lead opponent with head inside singles.

by the way, someone should post tom's match against the russian from atlanta 96. i have it, but it's on v8, you know, those old school video camera tapes.

at the end of the match, the russian gets flustered with tom's constant snap downs and heavy hands, so he decides to get rough with tom. rather than gettting flustered with the russian's head clubs (the russian was pretty much punching him), brands stays in his stance, times the russian's hand attacks, and blows him off the mat with a brandon slay-like double.

I wrestle with a left foot lead, maybe that is why i do well with the inside singles on the right foot lead wrestlers.

it doesnt matter if you wrestle a right or left foot lead.
I wrestle a right foot lead and can shoot both right and left inside singles.
an example is makhach murtazaliev he sometimes shoots with his left kneepound and sometimes circles behind his opponent while attacking the opponents left leg.

it just depens on what feels good for you and what makes you quick.

On the contrary it matters very much. Lefties, like many other sports, have a distinct advantage in wrestling for a few different reasons:

90% of all wrestlers are right lead and will attack their opponent's left leg for a head inside attack and right leg for a head outside attack. So from a defense standpoint, many wrestlers grow comfortable defending these positions. They are not as comfortable, however, when their lead leg (right) is attacked with an inside shot or their left leg is attacked on the outside. On the flip side lefties are used to their lead leg being attacked on the inside and their right attacked on the outside and thus better at defending.

Also when a lefty controls a two on one or grabs the near wrist he is ultimately controlling his opponent's attack hand. This is very annoying and uncomfortable. When a righty does the same he is still leaving his opponent's attack hand free and thus the holds are not nearly as effective.
