    Default A so-called un-American way of wrestling

I wonder if Terry Brands can teach Cejudo how to do this throw:

By the way I believe the throw is called "Kochirga" or a tool for moving hot appliances in and out of the stove because he grabbed his arm (kochirga) and placed him on his back with it (in the hot stove) to get him done!

We just simply call this an "arm throw."

Is this Otarsultanov v. Achilov (UZB)?

    Yes.

Check out the way he sets it up. He has a Russian and pushes him one way and circles then suddenly changes direction and goes for the throw. True finesse!

I don't understand the subject of this thread. What is so called un-American about this?

How many current American top 3 team members have done a throw like this lately? As Americans, we are supposed to go for the legs remember?

We don't have too many throwers these days, yes.

Speaking of American wrestling, how is it looking for 66kg?
I hear that Jared Frayer is really good but his weight cutting may affect his wrestling especially with the one day tournies, and what about bono? can schwab hold it out over all these guys?

With all do respect Big that throw isn't that technical. I can't say that I've gone for an arm throw before during a match myself but I don't consider it anything special. I believe Kurt Angle was a fan of the arm throw.
