What haircut & hair color did Vincent have there? He changes them quite often.

A number of USA wrestlers at the 2007 Deglane had previously placed at Deglane (if my memory and select published results are correct). Deglane places top 10 in each weight. The ones I am aware of:

    FREESTYLE
    Andy Hrovat FS 84kg 2005--Gold
    Jesse Jantzen FS 66kg 2004--Gold
    Clint Wattenberg FS 84kg 2006--Silver
    Jason Kutz FS 52/55/60kg(?) 1999(?)--silver
    Nate Gallick FS 60kg 2006--Bronze

    GRECO-ROMAN
    R C Johnson GR 96kg 2006--Silver
    John Wechter GR 84kg 2005--Bronze
    Shaun Scott GR 82-84kg 1999, 2001, 96kg 2005--6th, 5th, 10th

    A few other notes.

Iran and Cuba were top teams who attended in the recent past, but did not compete this year.

France's Steeve Guenot, 2007 GR World Silver Medalist at 66kg, did not place in the top 10 at GR 66kg. Guenot lost his first match in a weight class of 14.

Vincent Aka Akesse or Akesse Vincent Aka (whatever is the right order of his name, cf. FILA database and fflutte.com) who defeated Damian Hahn 1-0/1-0 looked like his FILA database photo. In 4 world championships, 2 Olympics, with a European Silver Medal in 2005 at FS 96kg behind Kurtanidze, this Ivory Coast/French wrestler is a very experienced competitor.

Daniel Hass had his computer stolen at the tournament, so the photos he took and downloaded are unavailable. I believe he has photos from 2005 and 2006 at daniel.hass.free.fr. Another photographer has taken a lot of photos but because of the controversial nature of some of the photos he posts on the site he posts on, I can't recommend it. I don't even know his name. He's found somewhere on flickr.com.

Giles Leray has a website with some photos of Henri Deglane himself, on his website lutte-wrestling.com under "Old Galleries", then select the various "Catch Deglane".
