10 minute period for OT, first score wins.

Dake just won 4-2 over Howe about 6 minutes into OT, fantastic match.

Shame to see that Scott got hurt...

Very interested to see what goes down in the Burroughs/Dake matches tonight. Much like the Open when he wrestled Taylor, Burroughs is the obvious favorite.

    But I'm paying attention.

Gotta agree with ODH, a 7 pt TF is wrong. There has to be a middle ground, maybe 9 or something.
with out a 7 point tech you'll see guys shutting down with a 3 or 4 point lead.

Great matches so far. What time will Dake beat Burroughs?

as a Sconny fan, I'm quite satisfied to see Dake beat Howe(and Paulson and Taylor). This kid has the right stuff.

From my understanding the reason they dropped to a 7 point tech after the new rules originally had a 10 point tech was because of the match ending point of a 5 point throw. They didn't want someone down 9-0, and not be allowed to hit a 5 point throw which would end the match with him losing 9-5, or even worse having the guy with a 9 point lead lose. The 5 point throw has its place but they don't want to make it an alternative to pinning.
