Lester beats Fisher in the finals 2-0, 1-0. Seems like a very good weekend for him where he pretty much dominated everyone. Hope he sees more success at his new weight on the international scene.

Congratulations to Jermaine Hodge. 10 years ago I was driving him and his brother to tournaments in the spring/summer ... now he's a US National Champion.

Thoughts:

As someone who has a lot more silver and bronze medals than gold ones myself, I feel for Sam Hazewinkle.

I haven't had time to watch matches, but judging from his scores Harry Lester will be challenging for the 74 kg title at the worlds

Byers and Dantzler are ageless. Holy cow.

PS I now watched the Lester match and I'm even more impressed. Great on his feet!

Holy cow, blast from the past. I idolized the Hodge brothers from Orange HS, when I wrestled in NC. I did not know either of them were still wrestling.
