Russia brought a strong team, they used their 1st tier wrestlers in two duals and won both of them 7-0 ! but Iran also looked good in first day despite missing coach Bana and most of his main wrestlers.

Watching the Iran/Turkey dual. Some pretty good matches, these guys are aggressive and trying to score!

Cebi looks very thick.. maybe staying at 84 kg this time? The Iranian (why "Taliban"?) needs to keep his composure. He keeps doing the same thing after being warned by the referees, what does he think is going to happen?

Where are the top Iranians? You'd think they'd pull out all the stops to win this tournament at home. I think Russia beats them in the final.

only watched part of the first match tur/ira. the 55 kg from iran scored with the same front head push down, crappy name i get it, that noroozi made a living off of. clever.

Iran' Greco-Roman was a mess before this competition, coach Bana resigned, most of those wrestlers were close to him, Sourian and Rezaei started training very late, (Sourian may even retire) Norouzi quit (at least for 2013) , Abdevali had a motorcycle crash, he is not ready yet. Akhlaghi in 84kg also most probably will retire.
and AliAkbari and B.Ghorbani still serve their 2 years suspension. they won't available even after the suspension, AliAkbari moved up to 120kg and most probably will naturalize by Azerbaijan. and B.Ghorbani is in jail for killing someone in a street fight.
