Tervel looked awful that last match. Tired and couldnt finish shots. Not like himself. Maybe he does better in the flow of tourney as opposed to sitting and waiting?

Go Hawkeyes.
Just watched Scott's semi against Asgarov on NBC.
Love the way he wrestles, got in there and scrapped and was in and somewhat close to scoring at the end of both periods.
Asgarov just on another level.

Taymazov defies time and wins his third consecutive Olympics in consecutive periods.
Along with his assorted World Golds you've got to put him in the conversation now (in my mind) as one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.

Great bronze win by dutt
“This is it,” Dutt says. “This has to be the turning point for me. I’ve waited for a long time, I’ve prepared, I’ve worked harder than ever before, and I’ve trained smarter. Now I just have to do what I know I can.” Never back down - Play - livemint.com

That Indian guy Dutt 60kg got my respect. Scott was good as well.
Asgarov - I am not surprised. This kid will make history.
84kg - a bit upset for the georgian, he could have been in the final with Sharifov.
Lashgari was very good, I am really proud of him. He almost made it.
However Sharifov was too god. He had the hardest draw and he deserves gold medal.
120kg - I am still in shock how Makhov lost. I was expecting final with taymazov.
Makhov a choker?
Go Hawkeyes.
I first saw Taymazov nine years ago when he beat McCoy at Worlds.
Then you realize that he's only one month older than I am. Guy just turned 33. His style has changed. Much more brute strength and pushouts now than heavy snaps and breaking you in half in par terre.
