Default 2007 Sunkist Kids International Wrestling Tournament

I just checked out the participant list on trackwrestling.com.

    A few observations:

    1. It looks like Matt Lackey is back... perhaps he decided to make a run for 2008

    2. Canadian Saeed Azarbajani is wrestling, and has dropped to 55 kg.

    3. After being stacked last year, 60 kg freestyle looks a little thin

    4. JIM GRUENWALD IS BACK!!!! Yeay!!

    A few from me:
Old man Babak is back @60 after being away from the sport and managing 3 auto dealerships- had to weigh close to 200 not too long ago.
Heavy should be interesting-Konrad, Sigman and Dlagnev
Tshirt @60-didn't look too close, but didn't see any other current college guys
    KOLAT....I just dig that dude!
    Should be fun.

Why don't you marry him then?

It should definitely be, as you said a fun one though. This tournament almost always is.

Nope, not going. If it was at ASU, maybe. But it's way out in Chandler and I don't feel like going just to watch a bunch of shoving matches. I honestly have about zero interest in freestyle wrestling since the rule changes.

He's been slowly getting back in the groove of things (last year or so). I know Troy's been working(getting him training partners) with him. You have to keep that booster $$$ rolling in.

Yeah, Babak wouldn't remember this but I attended a clinic he held over here once, sponsored by our wrestling team when I first started coaching. I asked to wrestle around with him as I was still in decent shape and he was in training for the Olympics. Anyways, I scored a three on him. Now keep in mind he probably wasn't going 100%, but shortly after that he was and worked me over pretty good for the rest of the time we worked out. Nice guy though.

I saw Oscar back in the swing of things. Always good to see those fellow Oregonians representing well.
