    Watched the Burroughs match.

Period 1 thoughts: Burroughs was the aggressor, looking to score, lots of fakes, head taps, but neither guy was looking to take a major risk. Ghoudarzi was content to slap the head and hold out for the Ball grab, while Jordan was trying like a mad man to get that TD.

Ghoudarzi was completely helpless in the Clinch. Easy score for JB.

Period 2 Thoughts: Ghoudarzi works up the courage to shoot, JB sprawls and it looks like Ghoudarzi was hit by a sniper he fell so fast under JB's hips. JB is up quick and shoves him out of bounds. Ghoudarzi gets in deep on a single. JB was able to square up while Ghoudarzi tries to run behind. Ghoudarzi once again shows poor mat awareness, and goes out of bounds. JB up 2 and cruises to a victory.

Glad I have the video to confirm what I already know.

Another thing to consider: JB is not peaking for the world cup. If you think that was the best version of Jordan Burroughs you're kidding yourself. Ghoudarzi is awesome, but deserves a better fan than you JudoWrestler.
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

Speaking of guys who look too big for their weight class- both these athletes are monsters, especially Yonemitsu. Both tall and thick- I can' imagine making 66 is very much fun for him.

Goudarzi lost the match but made mistakes he was in on the leg twice and got scored on, your post here is pretty lame in general to be fair, you might be upset with what judowrestler posted, but this post and your pic look like an lame attempt to troll judowrestler, both guys are good either can win on the day burroughs has proved he's the better man at this point but it will be exciting to see what happens at olympics, none of the iranians are going on about varner vs yazdani.
After seeing scott vs esmaeilipoor, good win for scott, and a good performance from him in this comp, after seeing how weak 60kg looked for US, he's come in and looks promising, beat yumoto as well.

Enough bickering on this thread... a little bit of trash talk can be fun but the endless arguing is going to take over a really good thread about a great weekend of wrestling. Arguing which does not at to the discussion will be deleted.

Back on topics... do they give out individual medals for this thing? I've got Rahimi, Scott (and maybe the Azeri, not sure), Yonomitsu, Burroughs, Sharifov, a big logjam at 96 and Dlagnev at 120 as undefeated guys. Is this correct?

Not sure what the issue is here Judo; your original comment about Burroughs was wrong, Vais called you on it, end of story. Get over it man.

I don't mind the trash talk, judo is an iranian wrestling fan who doesn't like the american style, burroughs isn't on a hype train we all know that, he's on a winning train, and until it gets derailed or stopped, any hype is more than justified with medals. But Vais' way of describing the match was poor form, but when an iranian fan goes against the US style they get abuse, i say let them trash talk, makes the olympics more entertaining.
Back to the original thread, they give winners in weights,
    55-Can't remeber
    60-scott
    66-taghavi
    74-burroughs
    84-sharipov
    96-yazdani
    120-dlagnev
I'm pretty sure thats what i've heard.

US wins 3 of 7. Not bad.
