Akzent, what do you think of Musaev from Tarastan at 96? He's been on a roll.

Well he is the champ of Asia now but I don't think he belongs to the top-wrestlers exported from Russia. Watch his matches!

To my knowledge he is not of Ta.... (do you mean Tatarstan?); he is Ingush - Ingush people - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Is it the same guy who wrestled Russian Nationals in 2009 at 74kg?

GR Golden Boys coming back home
    Airport greeting at Tehran

They returned today with 3 gold medals and were met by a small orchestra.
When the FS guys arrive with their 5 gold medals tomorrow I expect to see and hear a full-size philharmonic orchestra at the airport. )))

I don't think this could be the same guy. This one wrestled at 96 already in 2009. In Russia, there are several Magomed Musaevs; not easy to understand who is who. I think Musaev who won the Asian championships was same Musaev who wrestled at 96 kg at the 2010 Russian nationals. He lost to future champ Ibragim Saidov in the semis:

He also lost a controversial match with gatsalov that year for bronze, his match with amiri was very boring 2 clinches musaev not attacking and amiri getting out on the second clinch only for the point to be given anyway, i'm not really a fan of amiri anyway, i think if he wrestled kurbanov or tigiev he'd lose to them at the asian championships.

His move to KGZ was smart. Now he has a shot at being an Olympian. I'm surprised a lot more don't do the same.

He's on a roll winning his last 3 tourneys. I think he recently beat Belonovski as well. I do know that he beat Bergman once.

I don't know guys, he could be a horse for a medal in London.
