Participants from: Cuba, Dagestan, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, USA. The Ukrainian and the Cuban wrestlers are the same who wrestled at the world cup few days ago. The team of Dagestan (notice: announced as Dagestan, not Russia) consists of young wrestlers; some of them medalled at european junior and cadet championships in the last 2 years. Jimbo, will irib-3 show the tourney live on-line? When? |

3 Uzbek wrestlers will compete in first day ! Taghavi, Dabbaghi and Ebrahimi won't wrestle tomorrow ! Quote:

| Re: Takhti Cup, March 12-13 Mike Zadick's match... man, he must be pissed. Gets reversed off his own front headlock in the 2nd, then gets pushed out right at the buzzer for the loss, dunno why he wasn't in a better defensive stance at the end there. Also, he must be cutting a ridiculous amount of weight at 60 kg... according the the other site he was at 66 kg for that tournament and he still looked big. |
