    Default Sunkist Mens Freestyle

Figure it's worth starting a thread. Looks like the theme today for freestyle is that people don't want to cut weight early. Escobedo at 60kg, Nickerson at 60kg, Pendleton at 96kg, etc...

Cejudo needs two ball grabs to beat Ben Kjar

Ryan Tomei being down at 96 kilos surprised me.

Seems like he's worked off the gut that he was carrying on the college scene.

Other than that though lots of guys are definitely up.

So Cejudo is actually wrestling again hey? Nice. I haven't had time to watch any video yet from the looks of the brackets there will be some good ones.

Pretty excited to see John Pineda in the finals at 60 kg. Isn't that Berberian guy he beat a pretty big stud? He also teched Hochstrasser who was a pretty good NCAA guy.Hergenheim also beat McKnight, nice win for Canada there. Our other men didn't do so well though.

Frayer looks to be ready to challenge,Paulson fighting for 2nd,Jordan puts together a good tourney in probably the most competitive weight,KILLER kills Although Pendleton did take one from him I c him as #2 for London hot on Varners heels and u know Varner has trouble with Ohioans,Hwt bracket was embarrassing Bradley holds serve as expected

BTW if there was stalling in FS Kjar would have been stalled out of the arena against Henry.

He literally just circled away from Henry for 4 minutes.

Excited Pineda won. He's beaten a lot of good wrestlers at 55 kg, nice to see him win at 60.

Kilgore did beat the Turkish guy that Varner lost to at worlds kast year, so maybe he has a shot. Personally, however, I'd be shocked.

Good job for Cejudo considering he's made a huge cut and hasn't wrestled for a while, but not ready to contend for Olympic gold yet based on his scores. He has time, though. Apparently he's going to wrestle at the Hargobind (formerly Clansman) this year, which is pretty cool.
