in a interview he actually admits that he does not like leg attacks, or that he even knows much about them, he just liked to do things his way

What's the story behind the match now being show on the TWT front page? It's about the best 3 minute match I've ever seen and ends with Saitiev pinning Sazidov. For some reason I thought Sazidov always had his way with Saitiev.

2000; so he won the Russian National finals with a pin and then the Olympic finals with a pin? Unbelievable.

Even cooler than Muradov winning the 2008 Russian nationals by defending a clinch sucessfully (against Gatasalov no less) and then winning the Olympic gold by defending a clinch again.

Watch also the 85kg final at Yarygin, July 2000
Adam Saitiev vs. Makharbek Khadartsev
http://rutube.ru/tracks/1599735.html...bc983e55c7839c

Khadartsev had retired after Atlanta '96 but in 2000 he (36 years old) came back, won several international tournaments and wanted to make his 4th Olympics at Sydney trying to win his 3rd Olympic gold there. The final vs. Saitiev was decisive for who would join the Russian Olympic team. After losing it Khadartsev went to Uzbekistan und wrestled for that country at Sydney.

Before the Yarygin final -
semis:
Adam Saitiev - Sazhid Sazhidov 1:1, overtime, ref. dec.
Makharbek Khadartsev - Hajimurad Magomedov 4:0
for the 3rd place: Hajimurad Magomedov - Sazhid Sazhidov 2:2, ot, ref. dec.

In fila data base http://www.iat.uni-leipzig.de/datenbanken/dbwrest/ his name is transliterated in ununderstandable way. Search: Chadarzev
He is Makharbek.
There is another one Chadarzev there - Aslan, Makharbek's elder brother.
