Thanks bwh27 for posting the vids. The vids of Burroughs I had are on Leigh Verlings camera in Calgary. I only have his final on mine, which has probably been viewed 10,000 on youtube by now. I hope he does well at worlds. USA is peaking at the right time.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you supposed to have your head to the outside on the clinch? It looked like Howe put his head on the inside when he was setting it up, and the ref cautioned him out for doing it twice. You'd think someone of Howe's caliber wouldn't make such an amateur mistake, but that's what it looked like to me.
    Am I cool now?

Does anybody know the credentials of the guy Burroughs beat in the finals?

You can put your head on the inside, that's legal.

It just looks odd because most guys go head outside hi-c for the finish.
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

I don't think he's particularly accomplished. Burrough's biggest win was over Musa Mutrazaliev who placed 2nd at the European championship.

Yeah, Musa Murtazaliev was definitely the most notable win, he's probably about the same level as Geduev. I couldn't find any results from Burroughs' two Russian opponents, maybe they're young, they're definitely not high on the depth chart. Chikladze who he beat 2-1,5-0 in the quarters competed for Ukraine in 2009 Worlds placing 13th and beating Fundora in his first match, so not exactly a pushover.
