    Why Tsargush?!

Rumors say Saitiev is 91 kg now and he is going to make the 2012 Olympics at 84.

In a special statement posted on the Russian federation site today, vicepresident Bryusov says it is still not sure in which weight class will Saitiev wrestle - 74 or 84.

Man I hope Saitiev wrestles. Although would like to see Ktsoev compete as well.

None of the Russian 84's are that impressive IMO, I would not be surprised to see Saitiev make the team at that weight.

Maybe this is wishful thinking but imagine a Saitiev/Sanderson Olympic final The ultimate battle of the old guys! However, I'm not sure Saitiev will even follow through. Hasn't he wanted to make a comeback before?

Tsargush is good. Boring, but good. He took Saitiev to 3 periods in the 2007 nationals, I thought Tsargush also won a match in a 2008 training camp also but I might be wrong about that. I think a younger, improved Tsargush would beat an older, weight-sucking Saitiev, probably on a couple of push outs. I don't like Tsargush though and I hope I am wrong.

My pick is Amiri for the Gold. I doubt a Sanderson Satiev final.

Sanderson/Saitiev was a wish, not a prediction, not a wish. I have no idea who is going to win this year, let alone next year- 84 is such a wide open weight. I think whomever Azerbayjan, Iran and Russia send as well as Aldatov, Sanderson, Ganev, Sokhiev, and Salas(if not suspended) have a legitimate shot at the title.

Lots of translated articles about Saitiev's comeback on the canadian forum: SATIEV....
