Regardless, great clinch defense by Lebedev. What a scrambler! The 74kg match is pretty dull IMO. I want to see Gatsalov's final though, hopefully it shows up soon.

Just watching the 96 kg semis. I wonder if Muradov will get a chance to challenge for the world team spot, as their match was essentially a tie. Friggin' Muradov- he makes Tsargush look like an offensive machine. I was really looking forward to seeing this match and we get a whole bunch of backing up and standing around.

All matches on flowrestling now, I'm starting to go through them and posting my favorites on the "good matches" thread.

Someone on themat posted that M. Batirov is going back down to 60 kg this year. If this happens, we have the ultimate clash of the Titans match... Batirov vs Kudukhov!

He wants to go to worlds this year at 60kg?

Sorry... next year, my mistake. This isn't any inside info BTW, just repeating what someone on another wrestling forum said. I would love to see Kudukhov and Batirov wrestle though.

I'd like to see him wrestle 60 this year him vs kudukhov would be awesome to see, and then go for the 66kg 3 weight class olympics something unparralled in wrestling to go up 3 weights and win olympics at all of them.
Anyone know about tsargush and worlds, i heard the national coach say akhmedov had his chances this year and failed, so i guess makhov is done deal at 120 but is tsargush going to have to wrestle farniev? I know tsargush walked through a competiton in spain last week rather than wrestle baku.

    http://www.flowrestling.org/topic/10...Mavlet-Batirov Flowrestling on Batirov/Kudukhov.

My take: What a style matchup! Batirov wrestles very controlled, works the upper body for setups.. Kudukhov wrestles from distance, is heavy on the head and constantly moving.
I'll take Kudukhov, because I think he is a better scrambler and clinch wrestler (Batirov got outscrambled by Dudaev several times when they wrestled.) However I might change my mind tomorrow . I'll be so excited t owatch this match if it happens!
