I don't know if those guys (Ghobari and Akbari) take steroids, but I just watched the Ghobari/Khustov match and I've never seen the Russian get pushed around like that.

Perhaps both of those guys are juciing in an attempt to gain an advantage over the other?

I don't know how Iranian GR (not FS!) wrestlers train and what kind of chemical materials they take but for the last 2 years they have apparently become bigger and bigger, stronger and stronger. Last year, after having lost to Ghorbani at a tourney and to Aliakbari at the worlds, Khushtov said in a personal talk they were inhuman strong and they easily outpowered him.
well, that was a test by IAWF (Iran Amateur Wrestling Federation), not FILA nor IOC ! they took these tests from all wrestlers in national camp and only 2 tested positive. you can't say the whole team is involved.

what ?? It's funny how some people think about Iran !
what will happen if someone test positive in Germany, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Japan or the United States ??? the same will happen in Iran. 2 years ban from wrestling + losing the respect

I said only that something has been changed in the methods (physical or chemical) for the last 2 years. And it's visible (this was noticed also by Iranian fans.) I can't recall any Iranian GR wrestler of the recent past who looked like Nematpour, Akhbari, Ghorbani, Aliakbari.

that was a test by IAWF
I heard it was a WADA test.

of course, I know, nobody can't deny it, that's why many people praise Banna. they passed many tests and this is the first positive sample for the GR team.
anyhow I'm really curious to hear Banna's comments about this.

yes but because of a request from IAWF. they can't do it themselves ! so they have to ask WADA agents in Iran to do it for them.

This is not what I think of Iran, but you said you "hoped they survive" which in English means that you hope they do not cease to live (die)

I dont think so. There are at least 2 cases saying the opposite: Abbas Jadidi and Majid Khodaee. They were tested positive, got stripped of their medals, got 2 years ban. Then they came back and they were successful - Jadidi medaling at several worlds/olympics, Majid only once. Plus, in Heidari's time as head coach of the national team, Majid became the assistant coach responsible for.... physical conditioning ))), later - head coach of the national jr. team.

true, but they gain respect again !

    ----

you were right about the test, this is a random WADA test by Russian agents !! and many are suspect just because of the name of Russia !

but Banna only blamed the wrestlers, he invites Ghasem Rezaei to the national team after 3 years ! who almost naturalized by Azerbaijan !
