They were supposed to wrestle here in Baku for the first time but AliAkbari missed this GP.
according to coach Banna, now Ghorbani is one step closer than AliAkbari to the world championship !

really intersting weight.. nothing is certain
Serdar B?ke isn't a newcomer. He's 25. He and B?l?kbashi (who was junior untill last year) are big rivals for getting the 84 kg spot in the world team.
B?ke wrestled at the 2010 euros, placed 7th. At the beginning of this year, B?l?kbashi won the nationals (B?ke was 3rd) and placed 5th the 2011 euros.
In Jan - July, both participated at one and same tourneys (Yasar Dogu, Aliev, Tbilisi, Baku), have mixed results.
B?l?kbashi - 1x 1st (Tbilisi), 1x 2nd (Yasar Dogu), 2x 5th.
B?ke - 1x 2nd (Baku), 3x 3rd.
They wrestled each other twice: for the 3rd place at Aliev and in the preliminaries in Baku. B?ke won both matches.
At one and the same tourneys, both lost to Sharipov (Aliev) and Ktsoev (Yasar Dogu). Last week in Baku, they met Ktsoev again. B?l?kbashi got pinned one more time, whereas B?ke took revenge.
At 1:55 you can watch 1 minute from the match Ktsoev vs. B?ke at Yasar Dogu, half a year ago:
This past week Ktsoev lost in almost the same situation in which he scored at Dogu.
two news for Iran Greco team, a bad news, and a very bad news !
bad news: two Iranian Greco wrestlers apparently tested positive !
Very bad news: these two are big names, VERY big names.I can't write their names because it's not official yet.
I hope they survive (at least one of them) which is very unlikely. otherwise it will be a big blow to Banna and his team.
i heard about the rumors and i know the names. is it still a rumor or the test results are announced officially?
Is it that bad news? I was always under the impression the top wrestlers are all taking steroids. The same in weightlifting.
Well the names are in circulation everywhere in Iran though not officially announced. The rumors say: the 96 kg guys Aliakbari and Ghorbani. It's a bad news for me because I like the style of Ghorbani.
I don't know how Iranian GR (not FS!) wrestlers train and what kind of chemical materials they take but for the last 2 years they have apparently become bigger and bigger, stronger and stronger. Last year, after having lost to Ghorbani at a tourney and to Aliakbari at the worlds, Khushtov said in a personal talk they were inhuman strong and they easily outpowered him.
Look at Davud Akhbari, 2011 Asian champ at 84, 3rd at Baku. This shape is far away of being natural. I'm sure in his body, one could find at least half the elements of the periodic table.

Will these wrestlers try to flee from Iran to avoid harm or will they stay and ride it out?
