Dake just Matt Hughes'd Caldwell (picked him up, ran him across the mat, and slammed him) for 3.

As of right now Bunch clinches the win over Scott to move to the best of three series with a 1-0/1-0 win. Scott's corner is challenging the point that Bunch was awarded during the ball draw in the second period.

And its confirmed, Bunch moves on to face Humphrey.

Anyone watching this Dake-Caldwell match? It's been ridiculous. Not sure why Caldwell got two points to go from down 1-3 to tie it 3-3 with what seemed like a normal 1-pt takedown. Then it looked like Caldwell scored on the edge with 10 secs left but ref ruled it out of bounds, it's being challenged. As Zapp mentioned, Dake's three point throw was f'ing awesome. He had been been tying up all match unable to get anything big the first two periods due to Caldwell's seeming strength/size advantage and even giving up a few points in the second period being overly aggressive. Not many shots though, as would be expected, Caldwell had a snatch single but it was right there when Dake over-pursued

Dake won the match 3-0 (clinch), 2-4, 4-3

Stieber wins a big match over Valenti, dominating the second period 6-0, very impressive. Lehmann won the first period over Lofthouse but was dominated for the next two periods, couldn't keep up. Zadick own the first period off a clinch against Graff - the second was more exciting with Graff striking first, Zadick gaining advantage with 1-pt TD to make it 1-1, then Graff scored on a superslick ankle pick to go up 2-1, but Zadick scored on the edge to clinch the match (seemed like he also had a couple turns but I guess the ref called them out of bounds).

BTW, Lofthouse won. Marable-Howe going on right now. As you might expect, it's a high risk, action packed match.

Shocking!! Howe and Marable go to the clinch first period. Howe gets the leg and Marable does a good job fighting off the inevitable for about 10-15 secs before he's broken down.

Edit: Nevermind I guess they gave the point to Marable b/c Howe went out of bounds? Call is being reviewed. Two points ultimately given to Marable, so I guess they think he exposed Howe? Don't understand that call, and I don't have a play-by-play.

Another uneventful period in regulation, Howe had a leg at one point but Marable fought him off. Howe wins the clinch again and this time finishes cleanly without taking any risk.

Wow. Howe wins the ball draw, but I'm not sure how the scoring went, but they gave the point to Marable on the edge. HOwe had him in a wheelbarrow position, but maybe he stepped out first? Not sure about the FS rules.
