I believe Heydari was self confident because he had beaten Ibragimov at least 3 straight times before the Olympics ? at Asian championships and games. But he should have thought about what happened to his close friend Khaleghifar an year earlier. After beating Ibragimov in the finals of the 2001 Jr. worlds, Khaleghifar faced him again in the finals of the 2003 Jr. worlds. And got pinned.

This was so unfair.
Look how Heidari's Single arm and leg take Down turned Ibragimov and exposed his shoulder to the mat( 2:27). It gets him one point only.

This injustice cost Heidari a spot in the final.
