Maybe you think he's being excessive by going on the Iowa corner rant or calling out Mocco multiple times, but whiny?? No. He's amped up not cranky.

Waaahh...Iowa gets away with things...waaah...steve has big hands and he hurt my friend!

Waaahh...Bergman is saying negative things about the team I cheer for...waaah...Bergman is ticked off that Mocco punched his wrestler at the end of a match that he just finished coaching but it's whining because I'm not an OSU fan!

See how easy that is? The point is, I don't actually think you're whining, but neither is he, you just don't like what he's saying.

Tervel is a big boy and can stand up for himself just fine without JD standing up for him.(I would think)

How is bringing Iowas coaches collegiate match conduct relevant or appropriate to bring up during the US Open?

Iowa is probably the best team that has coaches that are that animated in the corner, but they are far from the only coaching staff who get a little heated in the corner.

The way Iowa coaches conduct themselves wasn't even the crux of his point...

I don't see anything he's saying being wrong...

Then why bring it up? I agree it had nothing to do with the task at hand. Steve Mocco "punching" someone in a freestyle match after college has what to do with Iowa coaching college folkstyle?

I wasn't suggesting otherwise, but say what you mean the first time. Maybe it's just a pet peeve of mine that people call something "whining" or call someone a "b*tch" when they disagree with that person's perspective. I get it, you're dismissive of Bergman's rant because you thought it was excessive, but it's inaccurate to call it "whining" when he's addressing the issue right after the match when tensions are still very high. JD is a very gregarious guy when he does these VLog's, certainly more so than some people prefer, which would explain the positive qualifications ("Steve's my friend and I like the guy outside of competition", etc) and frustrated rants rather than "whining."

I don't think there was a need to do a video about it right afterward (and Im sure he's not thrilled he did it either), but he made a valid point and definitely wasn't whining.

The punches seemed deliberate and masked by his previous attempts at upper cuts.
