I don't know if you saw any video or if there any video of this match up online, and if there is a video what it showed.

However, it's worth mentioning that about 10 seconds after they walked off the mat, Mocco ran towards Rosselli (who was turned around and walking away from the mat) as if he was going to attack him--or at least do something ridiculous. If someone hadn't jumped in front of Mocco to stop him, I wonder what would have happened. At the end of the match I didn't know who started it; I didn't know if Dlagnev had been talking trash or what, etc. Either way, though, Mocco acted like a jr. high thug. I could not believe that that was happening from a guy who is what, 28?

The way I see what he's saying is that they're able to do what they do in the corner and officials think "oh that's just Tom and Terry being Tom and Terry, they're not being unsportsmanlike or trying to show us up, that's just how they are" then he's extending that line of thinking to what went down in the heavyweight match (which I didn't see). The official thinks "oh that's just Mocco being Mocco, he's not lashing out or attempting to injure Dlagnev he's just being a tough guy."
Fair enough. The match is here. Fast forward to about 1:55 and you'll catch the last period or so. I figured out when he threw the supposed upper cuts and a definite case can be made(really bad video quality) I didn't think it was that bad. Probably safer than drilling stand ups with Logan Brown.

I wasn't suggesting otherwise, but say what you mean the first time. Maybe it's just a pet peeve of mine that people call something "whining" or call someone a "b*tch" when they disagree with that person's perspective. I get it, you're dismissive of Bergman's rant because you thought it was excessive, but it's inaccurate to call it "whining" when he's addressing the issue right after the match when tensions are still very high. JD is a very gregarious guy when he does these VLog's, certainly more so than some people prefer, which would explain the positive qualifications ("Steve's my friend and I like the guy outside of competition", etc) and frustrated rants rather than "whining."

Iowa is probably the best team that has coaches that are that animated in the corner, but they are far from the only coaching staff who get a little heated in the corner.
I don't think there was a need to do a video about it right afterward (and Im sure he's not thrilled he did it either), but he made a valid point and definitely wasn't whining.

The punches seemed deliberate and masked by his previous attempts at upper cuts.

I think vais should tell JD about his feelings in person.
