FILA was informed of the tragic death of the Egyptian referee Sabry Aiman at only 35. He obtained his international category in Cairo in 1998 and was acknowledged as one of the best referees in Egypt. He participated in 3 World Championships (Budapest 2005, Guangzhou 2006, and Baku 2007) and in numerous African Championships. FILA joins the Egyptian Wrestling Federation to convey its deepest sympathy to Mr. Aiman's family and friends and its appreciation for the work accomplished as high-level referee.
