Hey guys, I was searching for a good document with the fila rules. Because i notice a lot of freestyle wrestlers and greco even on international level seem not to agree with the rules the rules are sometimes pretty vague. like for instance the red zone, when is somebody really outside the mat? a foot a knee? his waist? or whenever you attack can you be outside the mat? a takedown is a one point take down whenever the defender puts his arms as a form off support on the mat or not? if someone could help me out let me know. http://www.fila-wrestling.com/index....d=33&Itemid=75 |

There is oficial letter from FILA to the national federations with new rules. These rules must be used to the end of the year at national tournaments and at january must be voted from the FILA. Greco: If 1 wrestler win point from standing position at the 1 minute,he will not be at parter. The parter will be with hands at the back If there is 8 points difference at 1 period, this will win the MATCH/for all styles/ There must be found a better way to be decided who will win the clinch It was offered to FILA in freestyle if the result is 0:0 at the 2 minute period, then the bothwrestlers to be put at parterre, but FILA did not agree, because they are thinking that this will stop the action at standing position and the wrestlers will wait parterre. For the questions of Henry: If one wrestler attack from standing position, the rule book allow you to step outside, but if your action is beginning from the mat and if you put the other wrestler at pinning position. If the defender wrestler put his arms after the line of his back as a support-this is 1 point! |
