So, 50 words or less, why is the USA not competitive on the world level??? Won, what?? 2 FS matchs?
Re: 2010 Moscow World Wrestling Championships: Freestyle 66/74/120 KG Discussion
Just a bad year overall for us, I don't think its necessarily an indictment of us anymore than what we already know. Comparatively we're just an average nation in terms of wrestling the International styles. This may be distasteful to hear but its just the truth.
So with that being said we'll have our good years (04, 06, 09) our bad years (05, 10) and our average years (07, 08) with little rhyme or reason as to when they actually occur.

Gogaev ends Garzon's run and advances to the finals against Kumar in two periods.
Tsargush up 3-0 early on Hatos in the semi's at 74.

The Greek that beat Sigman records a fall over the Chinese wrestler to advance to the semi's. He'll need to pull a massive upset against Taymayzov to pull Sigman through, but we've got a chance.

Re: 2010 Moscow World Wrestling Championships: Freestyle 66/74/120 KG Discussion
How is it even possible for Russia to be this good at wrestling? Seems like they just throw in random guys at 66 (Gogaev this year) and still end up making the finals. It's just not fair.
Also pissed Fundora beat Chamasurlaev... bah. I hope Garcia wins bronze but he'll have to beat Garzon, which is really unlikely.
Excited to see Kumar in the finals, he's a great technician. Also CLASH OF THE TITANS # 2 coming up in the finals at heavyweight!!

It must be Haislan Garcia in the bronze medal match, I wonder where they get "Veranes" from.
Here's hoping Garzon has enough bronze medals already and just doesn't care any more.
Gold medal predictions: Kumar (though I think this one's 50/50), Tsargush, Makhov
