Recently, not more than a couple of days ago, Russia's Islam-Beka Albiev injured and sprained his groin during a team practice and he his for sure not participating at the 2010 World Wrestling Championships in Moscow, Russia.

This sucks so much!! I couldn't believe it when I got the news of it. He is Russia's premiere Greco-Roman wrestler without a doubt. He practically dominates everyone he has wrestled. He won the 2008 Summer Olympics and the 2009 World Wrestling Championshps for Greco-Roman. And now he won't be able to compete for Russia now that he has injured himself just days before the start of 2010 World Wrestling Championships. This is a huge blow for Russia and their Greco-Roman World team.

He is being replaced by Zaur Kuramagomedov who placed third at 2010 Russian Nationals in Greco-Roman. He is a very good wrestler, but no where near Albiev. Even though this is a huge shock and a big blow to the Russian Greco-Roman World Team we should still be alright even with our current lineup anyways, although losing Albiev is literally like losing an already won gold. Russia is still optomistic though that they will perform very well and expect to win.
