Re: 2010 University World Teams
I got Esco, Reader and Wright having the best chance to medal. Wright is a phenomenal freestyler as is Reader, and I think Esco could really make some noise once he focuses full time on freestyle. Especially at 55 KG he is huge!

Re: 2010 University World Teams
Humphery placed second last year, didn't he?
Reader has some fs experience; at the Pan Ams last year he beat Evan Macdonald (top 10 in world 2x, Olympian) pretty handily but then got absolutely curbstomped by Fundora in the final. How this all translates to the World Universities I'm not sure.

Re: 2010 University World Teams
Humphrey's silver was a few years ago but having been there and done it he's definitely a guy that can get back there.
Of the guys on the team I'm most intrigued to see Reader. His ability to score from par terre gives him an advantage that a lot of the US guys don't really have.
The dump that he likes to hit also helps set him up for big points.

Re: 2010 University World Teams
What is Reader's "style" as a wrestler? When I watched the MacDonald match, I was really impressed at how well he got in low on the legs against a short, stocky opponent.

Re: 2010 University World Teams
Really aggressive. Likes to hit low singles and a dump (primarily to the left side) from the feet. Very capable of scoring from top primarily with a gut.
I've seen much more of him wrestling folkstyle than freestyle but I think this sums him up pretty well.
