Haislan keeps getting better. He's always had the talent but when he first started coming to Canada, he was losing the close ones. Now they're going his ways.

Akzent do you think he has a legitimate shot at a world medal? Has he beaten any of the contenders?

He has a legitimate shot at a world medal. Not saying it's gonna happen though but it wouldn't be a huge surprise if he got one of the double bronzes or even a silver. He's not World Champion material though.

66 is a tough weight class. Stadnik, garzon, shahin, mavlet, 09 world champ from Iran.. dont know if he can beat these guys.

He did lose to taghavi (09 Champion), and has yet to beat a world contender at that weight class. Before talking about medals, let's see if he can make it past the first round.

I think he has a shot at Taghavi, those two will stall each other out. Dunno about the others. Stadnik and Garzon do make dumb mistakes sometimes. Shahin and Batirov are just awesome. Good luck Haislan.

Went three rounds with him. Also went three with the Turk who finished 5th. last year. You can't say he's not an outside contender.
