So what is the story with these guys? Are they switching to freestyle permanently? Haze is right there in Greco, it would be shocking to see him switch. Then again I have no doubt he'd be near the top of the ladder with some freestyle experience. Ware is a bit of an enigma. From tournament to tournament, you don't know if he's going to go 132 or 145 - and lately you don't know if he'll be freestyle or Greco! Frayer was much larger than him from the finals video, guess he's a classic tweener. Still, it would be nice to see him stick with a weight/style and go full bore - he has all the technique and ability to make the world team. |

Haze was definitely the more surprising of the two as Teyon had been shuffling between weights and styles for the last several years. That is very interesting to see that Haze is going to be making the switch after being so high up on the Greco ladder for the last five or six year. Working with Sammie Henson as his coach certainly won't harm his progress. |

Thanks for the video, though the link isn't working - if anyone wants to see that interview it's on the main Flo page. Nothing but class from Haze every time I see him, one of the good ones... I think Ware might be frustrated by the lack of success (at least by his standards) and keeps changing things up to see if he can find that perfect fit. I think he's clearly a guy that was PERFECT for the old 138.75 weight and is stuck between wrestling sucked down at 60kg or going against guys who have 15 pounds on him come match day at 66kg. |

Haze doen't really give a defnite answer in his interview. I kind of assume that he's sick of losing to Mango in greco, and sees that 55 kg freestyle is pretty wide open (assuming Cejudo moves to 60). That's just conjecture, though.

He spends a whole year doing this things may get really interesting for him come Nationals and Trials time. As arm-spin noted if we see Henry again it'll probably be at 60 kilos anyway so Haze in all likelihood won't have to worry about him. | |

I doubt he's running from anybody. He's beaten Mango and Durlacher before.
