Why is it a shame? Muradov won gold and deserved to be there more than Gatsalov.

Looked legit to me Hubbard, but of course I don't know for sure. Either way after watching the eye-gouging boredome that was the other medal matches, it was a fun match to watch, low scores or not.
The shoving at the end was funny, that would light up the message board for days if it was an NCAA match
Taghavi is a stud, I don't think he gave up a point all tournament, but I wish he'd score more than once per round.

Maybe Akzent can confirm but I'm pretty sure it was a work.

Re: 55/66/96 KG Freestyle Finals Discussion
I can kind of see it from both ways.
Gatsalov is very good defending clinches, but still that is a situation that Gazyumov SHOULD finish from and you could certainly make the claim that he didn't finish because he wasn't trying.
However, if they were going to work it why not devise a plan and a finish for the match that doesn't make it look like it could have possibly been worked?

What was the reason? I watched on tv and I couldn't catch what/why happened exactly. I don't have access to the univeralsports videos to review.

Re: 55/66/96 KG Freestyle Finals Discussion
Didn't really seem to be a good reason; Gatsalov had his in a front head lock for a pretty long time and then shoved him when time expired. Gazumov may have been digging his thumbs into Gatsalov or something, or else Gatsalov was just being an ass. Gazumov understandably got pissed and shoved him back. Wasn't a huge deal.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Muradov won and very happy for him. It's just that I would've rather seen Gatsalov out there. He was just such an exciting and fun wrestler to watch and one of my favorites. I just wanted to see him win his second gold.

Taghavi is known for his attacking ability !! but he was very different yesterday ! I am happy for him.
but I am very disappointed for Ebrahimi, he lost to Gatsalov in a close match but he did nothing against Gogshelidze ! he is mentally sick !
